A Portipoo is the cross of a purebred AKC Porteguese Water Dog and a purebred AKC Standard Poodle giving you the best of both breeds. Portipoos are mid-sized dogs with a beautiful curly or wavy mid-length coat that is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. They require brushing 1-2 times a week. They are intelligent and have an excellent attention span making them easy to train. They have a desire to please and desire company. They are energetic and love playing, running and anything to do with water, so be sure to take them with you when you go out to jog, swim or hike. Portipoos are also known as Porti-doodles and Portidoos.

If you are interested in adopting a puppy, you will need to read our Purchase Information and fill out our Puppy Application.  Once we have received your puppy application, deposit, and signed contract, you will be placed on our Master List. Once a mom has her puppies, we will move people off the Master List and onto that mom's reservation list. The purpose of the Master List is to ensure the first people who place retainers with us, are offered the first choice from an available litter.
